Simple Crochet Flower Free Pattern

Last week I shared my Dainty Crochet Flowers, and this week I have another little flower crochet pattern for you! Because honestly, can one crochet too many little flowers??

  • Size 8 crochet hook
  • Crochet Cotton (For these flowers I used size 10)
  • Tapestry needle
  • Coordinating thread
  • To make these flowers larger, add chains in multiples of 3 to the foundation chain row.
  • You are welcome to make and sell products from this pattern but please link back to this post. Please do not copy this pattern and claim it as your own. Please do not republish any of my photos as your own.
Chain 66
Row 1: Dc in 9th chain from hook, *chain 2, skip 2, dc next* repeat from * to * across, turn
Row 2: Chain 5 (counts as dc and ch 2), skip 2, dc in next, *chain 2, skip 2, dc next* repeat from * to * across, turn
Row 3: *In next ch2 space, dc, ch1, dc, ch1, dc, ch1, dc, sc in next dc* repeat from * to * across, turn
Row 4: *Slip stitch into next ch 1 space, (ch 3, slip stitch in ch 1 space) 2 times, slip stitch into next SC, repeat from * to * across. Finish off.

Your flower should look something like this at this point:

Arrange this petal spiral into a flower, secure with thread and sew in any loose ends.

Next week I'm going to share with you the project I'm making with these and my dainty flowers...It's so pretty and I can't wait to blog about it!! (UPDATE: You can see the spring wreath I made with these flowers here.)
