Crochet Toddler Aviator Hat

So, who else loves to pull out their crochet hooks this time of year?! I don't know what it is, but as soon as the leaves start changing colors I don't want to do anything but crochet! With the weather getting colder, I decided my cute little boy needed a hat :)

Materials:
  • Size H crochet hook
  • 1 skein Vanna's Choice yarn (I used colonial blue
  • 1 skein Yarn Bee Cameo Bulky (I used platinum)
  • 2 coordinating buttons

Notes:
  • Ch 2 does NOT count as a stitch.
  • Don't join rounds to top of ch 2. Instead, join the rounds to the 1st DC.
  • You are welcome to make and sell products from this pattern but please link back to this post. Please do not copy this pattern and claim it as your own. Please do not republish any of my photos as your own.
  • This hat fits an approximately 20-22 inch head.

  1. Thank you for a well written pattern. I made a hat last night for my granddaughter with some changes. There's a photo of it here along with an explanation of the changes I made and a link to direct people back here so they can give your pattern a try. http://www.bubblews.com/news/1828771-girls-can-be-aviators-too
